Engineering Summer Bridge

Applications Open: December 1, 2024
After you graduate high school or get your GED, consider getting paid to participate in our Summer Bridge program, an optional accelerator designed to propel you to an engineering degree, offering courses that strengthen your math and science skills while introducing you to college-level engineering concepts.
This 4-week program pays students a $1500 stipend and is designed to ease the transition through academic preparation, mentorship from faculty and peers, and project-based learning.

Participants of Engineering Summer Bridge must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and enrolling into college algebra, or below, in fall 2025.
STEM Core at Denver-Metro Community Colleges
If you are a current or prospective student at one of our Denver-metro area partner community colleges, STEM Core is your bridge from a 2-year associates to a bachelor’s degree in engineering at a 4-year university.
Our multi-year program features extensive student support, student cohort networking, opportunities to apply for paid internships, and professional development assistance.

If you’re an Engineering Momentum STEM Core student, we connect you with opportunities for prestigious paid internships in engineering.
These paid internships offer valuable hands-on experience, a chance to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and the opportunity to build a strong professional network for future career endeavors.

Engineering Momentum internships are for current Engineering Momentum STEM Core students at CCA and CCD and STEM students from ACC, FRCC, and RRCC.
Engineering Degree
Fall 2024 Transfer Enrollment:
July 13 – August 31
Engineering Momentum culminates with transfer support to a 4-year university to obtain an engineering degree and eventual entry into the engineering profession. You'll leave university with the skills, relevant experience, and technical qualifications demanded by today's engineering employers.
